While driving front passenger brakes engaged on their own

Is the ABS light on? If it is, do you know the code?

As far as the wheel, it sounds like either the caliper or the brake hose may be the issue.

When the wheel is tight, remove the wheel from the car and open the bleeder for the caliper and see if fluid shoots out and the wheel loosens up and turns free.

That will confirm either the caliper or the brake hose.

This was the light that went on when ever it happened. I will check on the caliber and bleed it also the lines. Thank you for your response. By the way the indication seen on the image would that better explain what's happening?

That is for skid control. It is part of the ABS system.

So I just changed out a new brake caliper on the front right side. As I said before the brakes were engaging while driving only on the front right. And the skid light on dash goes on with a beeping sound as well. After changing to new caliper I'm still getting the same problem.. I need some more advice please.

First if the caliper was hanging up you would have two things going on. one, the tires rim would be blazing hot to hot to touch and when you hit the brakes the car would pull to that side. from the video it doesn't look to me like the car is pulling when you apply the brakes. Is that true? Also am I hearing the computer anti-lock brake motor engage besides the beeping sound? I think you have an issue with the anti-lock system.
Let me know if in fact I'm hearing the electric brake pump.

I did not brake at all while driving and then it locks up on the right side. It doesn't pull to the right when I brake so that's one out of in the clear. But yes the beeping sound goes on but no ABS light just the skid light goes on.. then it will release again and drive then do it again down the road. ..

I actually took out the ABS fuse and car drives fine now..

Now I need to fix this ABS problem.

So the car isn't pulling at all is the brake anti-lock pump turning on though? Yes, that makes sense, you issue is in the anti lock system. It's getting late but I will put together for you all the anti lock system info for you in the morning.

Sorry for the delay so Ive uploaded the basic system that involved I think you should have CAN system scanned and see if anything comes but since this all started with a fender bender it looks like the speed control sensors are easily damaged.You should do a good inspection as well near the dent, look for wires that could have been compromised but here is what to check out according to the data
BRAKE CONTROL: SKID CONTROL SENSOR (for 2WD): INSPECTION
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR
(a)Check the speed sensor. If any of the following occurs, replace the speed sensor with a new one.
- The surface of the speed sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped.
- The speed sensor has been dropped.
2. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
(a)Check the sensor wire. If any of the following occurs, replace the sensor wire with a new one. The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.

I'm thinking the system is getting bad data and making the anti skid circuit engage from the little bump it got. Scanning the CAN will let us know maybe. Probably a wheel speed sensor. Interesting that the left side was hit but the right side is engaging. we need to make sure the modules are communicating with each other correctly. the fact that dropping a sensor can cause it to fail leads me to believe it's going to be one of them tell the computer that a tire is turning at a different rate.

No worries on the delay, man honestly I looked into it and it could possibly be the speed sensor which I didn't think of in the beginning. Anyways car does not belong to me but to a family member. I got them driving it regularly now without the ABS. But I did advice them to return sometime next week for me to check on those sensors. Our governor has placed us on lock down again so no social distancing or going places unless essential. So i guess we got to wait until they lift up these guidelines again. But I really appreciate your response and information. And yes it didn't make sense at first why it got hit on the left but the right side was the one locking. I guess even on side could throw off the other or maybe the module itself got thrown off. Anyways thank you again and I will be back again if need so. Stay safe and god bless you brother.

Did you have the codes checked for the ABS system? There is a fault code stored in the system for the light and that will help us narrow the area of failure.

As far as the pulling, that most likely has nothing to do with the light. That is basic hydraulics. You changed the caliper but the more common reason for the pulling is the brake hose that collapses and does not release the caliper. After you stopped in the video and then moved forward, the caliper was still applied.

I would replace the brake hose and flush the brake fluid system with new fluid.

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTE: Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.

3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE

(a)Disconnect the brake tube (labeled A) from the flexible hose with SST while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.
SST: 09023-00101
Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting point.

(b)Remove the clip (labeled B).
(c)Remove the 2 bolts (labeled C, D) and then remove the flexible hose clamp (labeled E) from the knuckle.

(d)Remove the sensor clamp and flexible hose clamp from the flexible hose bracket.

(e)Remove the union bolt and gasket(s), and then remove the flexible hose from the disc brake cylinder.

Thanks, I'll go ahead and replace the hoses. on the other hand I was unable, unfortunately to get a code. I need to upgrade my obd2 because apparently mine cant pick up on ABS.. so no codes as for now but I will order one with.. I'll also probably replace the speed sensors to see if that might clear the ABS and function back normally. I appreciate your assistance and all the information you provided . I'll be sure to come back and look at your instructions provided if need to do so.
