Front-Left CV Axle Assembly

I went to BrakePlus to check for a clunking metal to metal noise and it turns out my Front-Left CV axle assembly needs replacing. I see they put part number (NCV11278) on the cost estimate which matches to a 2.7L engine not the 2.0L engine which is what I have. The OE number for that vehicle is Ford K2GZ3B437N for the left front. Runs around $200.00 for the Ford part or you can get the Motorcraft part TX1313 for about $180.00. The parts listing I have for GSP shows that the 2.7 and 2.0 share the rear axles but that the fronts are different so that part isn't going to fit properly. My guess is that they ran the number and couldn't find a front left that was cheap so they figured the 2.7 part might fit, and when it didn't they would tell you they were shipped the wrong part and had ordered the other part.
