Front heater does not work but rear area of van does

My front vent heater to heat or defrost my van does not work. The back area of my van does work perfectly. What can it be?

Good afternoon.

It does sound like the actuator for the heat/cold command has failed. I attached the procedure and some pictures for you for the repair.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the driver side knee bolster.
2. Locate the air temperature actuator (6).
3. Disconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector (7).

4. Remove the air temperature actuator bolts/screws (1).
5. Remove the air temperature actuator (2).
6. Remove the air temperature actuator lever (3), if necessary.
