Right front brake will grab and not fully release

I replaced the hose and bled that side. Pads were still like new. Rotor was in good condition. (Do I need to bleed the entire system? I didn't. ) I drove it about 8 to 10 miles with no problems. Then that same brake started grabbing again. If it wont release I can back up a foot or so and then forward until I hit the brakes again. I have not tried turning off the ignition.

This sounds like the caliper is not releasing which would mean the square cut o-ring on the piston is seizing and not allowing it to retract. Then when you reverse it pushes the piston back enough for it to move.

You will then need to bleed the system and I would suggest flushing and bleeding the entire system rather than just the leg that you opened. Not only to make sure all the air is out but to make sure you have all new fluid.

Totally understand. Let us know what happens but I am pretty sure that is the issue. It is normally the caliper or the rubber hose and if you replaced the hose then that leaves the caliper. Thanks

I'm going to replace the left brake hose too. Also both calipers. Then flush out the old fluid and bleed it the way you advised. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks, Yogi

Two hoses, two calipers, flushed the entire system. brake fluid with nasty bleed the system like you suggested everything seems to be working so far cross your fingers. thanks for everything.
