I just changed my front rotors and pads. Note the rotors are slotted. Now that i have changed them after i have been driving for 10 min. or so a sound comes from the front brakes and the only way i can describe the sound is that it is a shutter and i can feel them viberate. It does not make this noise when i push on the brakes. To me it feels like the caliper is not releasing the pad all the way. What would cause this problem and what would be the solution?

Hello,

It sounds like the retainer clips for the pads might be loose.
If the clips are not engaging properly the pads will move around and can make noise.
The pads can also drag against the rotor.

First check to see if the clips are secured.

I have included the brake replacement procedure for your reference.

Please let me know what you find.

Thank you.
