Replaced front axles, drove the car for few days, no problems. Then Leaving from my friend's driveway sort of a sharp left turn then straight. I heard loud pop then the car stopped pulling. Loaded car on trailer with winch. Car will pull if wheel is straight but stops pulling when wheel is turned either way. Could this be because of low differential fluid? Or is my car ruined?

Hi,

Either one of the axles isn't fully in position, or you have a partially broken CV joint (outer).

If you turn the steering all the way in one direction and place the transmission in park, are you able to move the vehicle as if it is in neutral?

Also, where did you get the axles? I helped a customer that was getting the right part number (aftermarket) but they were about an inch shorter.

Let me know.

Sorry for the slow response. The passenger side's new axle broke. It got in a bind and pin broke. They came from "parts geek". The situation has been remedied though. Thank you for your time.

Hi,

Thank you for the update and no problem whatsoever with the timing. LOL

I had a feeling something broke or had come apart. Regardless, I'm glad you got it taken care of.

Feel free to come back anytime in the future.

Take care and Mery Christmas!
