Front A/C not blowing our of front vents

This is going to sound funny but turn the vehicle on and set the fan speed to high. Once you've done this and fan still isn't blowing hit area where the blower motor is. Because the blower motor over time can develop an open circuit within the motor causing the blower to work intermittently. If this doesn't cause the fan to work then the issue may be the blower motor resistor or the switch itself. You can try to wiggle the electrical connectors at the blower motor and the blower motor resistor in attempt to see if the electrical connectors are poor. Let me know ,TY

So does this suggest that I need to replace the front blower motor?

I did check the connector and it seems to be tight. So not sure what else to check or if I need to. Any thoughts?

Sorry I lost my first reply, and meant to say that "yes" the fan motor did some on when I tapped the motor housing.

I looked up the part on-line and not sure if I would need the part with the wheel or without. I guess I will also need to get a Chilton manual on how to replace it. Probably should have had one but it has been pretty flawless working as a whole.

If tapping the blower motor caused the motor to come on then I would say the motor is faulty. Look at the electrical connector to the blower motor and check to see if it has any signs of melting (disconnect it from the motor). Get the motor with the wheel attached it makes it easier to make the repair yourself and lowers the risk of breaking the plastic wheel. Hope this helps
