Changing Front Brake on Ford Windstar

on my ford windstar 1999 3.8 LX i tried to replace the front brake pads when i tried to push the calipers one goes in and the other one comes out so for example when i push the top calipar the bottom one come out is there anyway to prevent that from heppening

You can use the old brake pad and a c clamp
Push the two cylinders together

Caliper off make sure hose not kinked place an old pad in front the caliper pistons
Using a C clamp
Turn the c clamp handle pushing in the pistons
Or u can push in one side and hold it in using a Vise Grip Pliers
and push in the other one

it wont go in is there something that will let the air out
