This problem started after a long trip (10 hours). We had 2 stops during the trip, though.

On the next day, I noticed that minutes after I leave, and specially if I stop the car, there is a burning smell, and there is white,or light grey smoke coming out of the pipe at the back of the car.

After a while both the smell and the smoke disappear.

your going to have to give a lilttle more detail if you can..

first off with the smoke out of the exhaust.
was it cold or humid that day? cause that could just be wator vapor not buring off in the cold exhaust system since you say it goes away when the car warms up.

unfortunately a car can make a whole variety of burning smells.

everything from brakes to clutch to engine oil to transmission fluid or even antifreeze has its own smell.

I first had the impression the smell was like paint, my daugther asked "what is smelling like yogurt?"

My husband filled the container of coolant last Monday. Today, less than a week, the coolant was belown the level it should be. I found it weird cause we never noticed any green liquid coming out.

Today, after he put more coolant/anti-freezing, we took the car to wash. While we were drying the car, we noticed the green liquid coming out.

The car never shows it's heating more than normal. The higher the temperature indicator goes is to the middle.

We noticed the smoke at the same time we felt the strange smell, usually when the car or idle, like parked (engine running) or parked at a traffic light.

The temperature when we noticed were from 9 to 20 Celsius.
