2001 Ford Windstar Speedo/ABS problems

2001 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

On our van, the Speedo only goes up to about 30mph then gets stuck there. The kicker is when it rains or is damp....it works. I feel that possibly the moisture is completing a circut somewhere. The ABS light has the same issue. When it rains it goes off. Can you possibly help me with this??

Hi cvalvo, Thank you for the donation. The speedometer and ABS are related and if one fails, the other would not work. I would suggest getting a scan done to retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Code to facilitate rectification. Scan can be done free ant your local Autozone or Advance Auto parts lutlet. Here are the testing procedures.
