When attempting to lock doors with controls on drivers or other door, the locks make a slight movement, as if attempting to lock/unlock but don't complete the move.
They have opened at times, but not often.
Same when using remote actuator.
Noticed that drivers door is also in this category, at times. Left sliding door and tailgate seem to work on regular basis.
Your advice will certainly be appreciated.

God Bless.

Sounds like it may be the actuators. You need to remove th edoor panels to gain access to the actuators to test for 12 volts at them when using power locks. If good power, then the actuators need to be replaced

ray this is usually a sign of a bad door lock actuator. do some locks work and others just do the slight movement or do all of them do exactly the same thing?

Hello Tim,

Only two of the doors operate properly all the time. The other 3 make feeble attempts to lock and unlock, but never seem to make it.
At times, one of the doors, (driver), does work but not that often.
Are any adjustments that can be made or need to scrap all 3 doors?
Is this a regular occurence with Windstar Models?

Thanks, Ray
