2000 Ford Windstar Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles

i have a 2000 windstar lx and 2 problems with lights.(1. while driving all intirior lights either flicker on and off or stay on for about 2-3mins. at a time.
(2. when i start engine w/out turning on headlights the drivers side headlight comes on,and when you turn headlights on then off drivers headlight still stays on and you have to pop hood and unplug light to turn off.
how can i fix this problem w/out spening a lot of money.
