1999 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

when i accelerate going uphill it almost sounds like a fan scraping the side of something. then i release the gas and it stops. any ideas?

Check motor mounts to make sure the engine isn't moving around when under a load.
