1998 Ford Windstar turn signals

Turn signals will only work if the sterring column is all the way up (past last setting).. 4 way flashers work fine as do all other lights.

suspect damaged / loose connections at signal switch. need to remove the column shrouds and inspect the wiring and connections at the signal switch.
