1995 Ford Windstar Hard starting in cold weater

Ford replaced engine due to the head gasget replacement recall after it blow a head gasget around 130000 km t 5 years ago then the second engine developed a noise around 2500 km yes 2500 km they replaced that engine too both engines used all my sencers noticed that the next winter you had to force start the van by holding down the gas pedal so it would start and some times you have to hold it now when it starts til it catches it selfs then ides like nothing is wrong and once its running starts with no trouble after that.

So could this be the colent senser that is doing this?

The coolant sensor's job is to tell the computer that the engine is cold and needs fuel for initial cold starts before the oxygen sensor heats up and takes over the fuel control check it out and get a fuel pressure check

EFI system you shouldn't have to touch the gas pedal, its all done electronically-The coolant temperature sensor is just like the carbuerator choke
