1997 Ford Truck 1997 Ford F150 ignition switch linkage rod

Ok there is no real instructions on this part but it is a ignition lock acuator that is gear driven from the ignition lock cylinder. You need to remove the lock cylinder and the turn signal switch and all so that you can see the cam and gear set up and then seperate the two to remove them and you will need to remove the ignition switch too. Now here is pic of the break down of the steering column. Just right click it and save it to you pictures and then you can magnify it so you can look at it close up. Hope this helps.

Everything is loose from the tilt part of the steering column, but I can't see the cam or gear behind the lock cylinder. It's enclosed by the metal housing. I can see the end of the actuator with the pin in it, but cannot seem to get the pin out or loose. Also, when I save and try to magnify the diagram, it is too out of focus to see anything.

Can you include a pic of how far you have it apart and include a close up of it around the ignition switch area so I can see if I can help you. It has been a couple of years sense I had to take mine apart. Thanks.
