tire pressure

can someone help me, i dont have my car manual for a 1992 ford thunderbird, and i would like to know the correct air pressure for my tires, never had to worry about it before but dont have any one to do it for me now, so if anyone knows what the correct air pressure for the tires are plz let me know.. thx :)

Usually for that year, 35 psi was max cold air pressure.. there should be a sticker on one of your doors, not sure which, that has this info

thank you i found the sticker it was on my passenger side door, it said 30 psi - but i checked on the tire and it said a max of 44 psi, so what would be a good psi -- thx for any help :)

I would go with the sticker reading, my 99 Taurus is rated at 31 psi, that's what I run it at..

Yes, go with what the sticker has on it, not what the tire has on it. The max pressure on the tire is just that, the most pressure you can put into that tire. It is not saying that you should put that much into it. Also, on that sticker it should have the size tires you should have on your car. Make sure that the size that is on the car is what your sticker has. If the tires you have on the car are different, then you should call the manufacture of that tire and ask them what they recommend the tire pressure should be for your car with there size tires. But only do this if the size on your door and the size you have on the car are not the same.
