The user manual for my 97 Tbird calls for replacement of differential lube at 100k. I have the car up on jacks and can find no drain plug on the differential - only a fill plug. My questionis How do I drain the old lube?? Thanks, Kent

I am sure it is not correct, but I always have removed the housing cover and replaced the gasket (about $10 at O'Reilly's).

I like doing this because I can inspect the teeth and look for any metal shavings.

The only other way I can think to do it is by siphoning with a tube through the filler hole.

Good luck!
