Brakes problem
1995 Ford Thunderbird 6 cyl Automatic 150000 miles

After about twenty minutes of driving,my front brakes would not release and the car would be hard to drive and the wheels were smoking.I checked the fluid level, blead the brakes of possible air pockets and leveled the fluid again. Now when i drive, the brake pedal goes to the floor almost and the car has a difficult time stopping all the way and when i do press all the way, the back brakes lock up and the car skids.Any solutions? And what would a job like this cost to repair?

Thanks, Chuck

Chuck,
The first thing I would look at replacing is your brake master cylinder. A bad master cylinder would explain the pedal sinking to the floor, and the back brakes locking whenever you stopped now.

If your brakes were smoking you need to flush your entire brake system (remove the "burnt" brake fluid), change your pads, look at your rotors, and calipers.

Hope that helps,
Ryan
