i have a 1986 ford thunderbird that starts, runs about 5 seconds and dies . i replaced plugs thinking they were fouled, they were and problem still persists. any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi there,

If you still have a good spark when the card dies, you will be looking at a carby issue, it just may need a good clean out and re adjustment,.
