1984 ford tempo. mileage is unkown as it displays only 45,000 km's but not the hundred thousand mark.
I had oil on the tappet cover. I changed the pcv , still oil, changed valve cover gasket, still oil, changed oil cap, till oil coming out of oil cap. Checked and blew through line from pcv , checked and blew thru line from oil cap to air. I then opened air filter and found oil everywhere in air intake?
could there be another hose that is blocked? I am not a mechanic, so please explain in easy terms.

Geez, I haven't looked at an older car in a while, is that a throttle body with seperate airbox??? Usually, oil in the air box is a sign of a constricted pcv system,,, I had an 87 Taurus, it had a hose from the airbox to a filter cap on top of the valve cover, that cap had a mesh filter in it... I don't believe there's a mutitude of lines on the earlier cars,, is there a good vacuum pull on the pcv valve??? A good noticeable suction???
