The car won't start anymore and I don't know what I've done wrong! I reset the idle (probably wrong - what's it supposed to be), a green wire connected to the battery (positive node) burned out, and the alternator was bad. I replaced the alternator (don't know if I did it right) but the car won't start unless I jump it and it kills about 30 seconds later. I've been frantically turning screws and trying to fix it but I can't! Please help - I just got this car last week and can't afford to take it to a mechanic...HELP!!!
