1993 Ford Tempo whats the problem?

so i want sure what was wrong with my car, but the thing is whenever i go to use the brakes the front right wheel does a coarse loud deep grinding. im just wondering if there were a few things you guys might think it is. please help me out.

sounds like your brakes on that side are metal to metal!(worn out)you can just replace the pads(do both front wheels)or also replace/resurface the rotor(s) if it is gouged.this is not real expensive to do yourself.
