up under dash beside steering columnb? been awhile since i messed with 1. are you saying lights and elec stuff go out or does car quit/slow too? if car quits for a second you probably have a dead short occuring! check all hot wiring under hood! if your battery post/hot wires touche ground for a second by moving that will do it!
