1991 Ford Tempo Speed control not working

Electrical problem
1991 Ford Tempo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

was working a few months ago now it doesn't. Checkead all vacuum lines and they appear to be ok. There is power at the wiring harness connector.

Try unplugging the deactivator switch at the master ctlinder, jump the two leads with a piece of wire, and go for a spin..

Where exactly is this "deactivator switch" ?

Look on the master, if it has one it's a two wire connector, and the switch screws into the master...
