1997 Taurus GL, 3.0L, 107,000 miles. As I drive down road, no matter what accessories are on or off (radio, A/C), about every minute or so if I am driving with the headlights on, they dim for just a second. Almost like if I just hit the highbeam switch for a split second, only they dim instead of going brighter. Someone mentioned a bad diode in the alt., but I thought I would get another opinion before I replace it.
