Front Wheel Drive Automatic, 83,000 with miles.

does the car listed above have rear strut assembly or does it have conventional shocks? I have seen both parts listed on auto part web sites.

This vehicle has what is called a strut assembly. It is a strut and spring assembly, so the word strut and shock are commonly interchanged.
