connector has come loose from rear window. this has happened before and was fixed by dealership for about $40 is there a way to purchase this connector repair kit and fix it myself, hopefully for less money

I was hoping to find more options than I did when I went searching and found this.

However, I'll share what I did find. www.frostfighter.com is offering repair kits to fix the problem. There's an epoxy formulation they claim most people use and there's a soldering kit offered as well. The important thing there is that you'll be applying a lot of heat to melt the solder. Apply too much and you'll break the glass.
