2004 Ford Taurus Transmission slipping

I had the transmission fluid and filter changed,
now the trans slips when comming out of a turn
and excelerating.

Start by checking the oil level. This is done with the transmission warmed up to operating temperature with the engine idling in PARK or NEUTRAL. If the oil ilevel is OK, then either the filter is not properly seated or possibly the wrong filter.

Did you have transmission flushed completely at a shop or did you just have fluid and filter replaced?

Perform test procedures as stated by jgarofalo and post results, I will follow up.

Okay. Was this the first flush of the vehicle's transmission since owned? If so, flushing it has probably stirred up the dirt on the bottom of the transmission and has now contaminated the "new" transmission fluid. I suggest having the fluid and filter changed, not flushed, and it should be running smoothly again.

I added 1 quart of motorcraft micron V trans fluid,
the slipping has stopped, should I do anything else?

If slipping has stopped then it was just low. You should be okay until time for another tranny fluid change.
