These problems may or may not be related, but my mechanic has been unable to find the cause of either:
1. Turn signal fuses blow. Mechanic replaced multifunction switch, and the problem was gone for about a week. Then, it happened again. Mechanic replaced switch again, and so far the problem has not come back (one week)
2. AC usually does not run. Mechanic replaced a pressure switch, and AC started working. Then, after about a week, at about the same time as the turn signal problem came back, the AC stopped working. Took the car back to the same mechanic, and he replaced a sensor (not sure which one). He kept the car for several days, and the AC worked fine--until today. He tested it one more time, prior to me coming to get the car, and it's now off again.
Compressor *seems* to run when defrost (warm) is used.
3. Check engine light is ON, but there is NO error code. CEL goes OFF if you turn the headlights ON.
4. Intermittently, the "door ajar" light comes on when all doors are secure.
5. Dash lights (illumination) were intermittently off for a while, thought for about a year they have remained on.
