2002 Ford Taurus Windshield Washer

My windshield washer isn't working - the resevoir is full, I can hear the pump trying to work, the spray nozzles look clear, but nothing comes out.

I can smell the washer fluid, and there is fluid on the engine when I lift the hood, so it's coming out somewhere. I can't see a hose or any type of connection to the underside of the hood and am wondering if something is disconnected. What should I look for and how to I reconnect?

You need a helper open hood and look for a leak while the helper holding the switch on for you
most common is the hose around the hood hinges
also make sure you have w/w fluid in it and not water and its frozen
