Electrical problem
2002 Ford Taurus

L/R turn signals and hazard flasher not working. Checked all fuses and relays under dash and engine compartment. All parking lights operate and brake lights. Installed new MFS which did not solve the problem. Since resolution of electrical issues are typically sequential, please bear this in mind when responding with recommendations.

Hello and thanks for donating

You said you checked the relays, I just want to be certain you did test the actual flasher unit. If not, it is located behind the left hand side of the instrument panel at the left hand side of the steering column. It will be a square shaped relay and most likely grey or black. If you already tested this and it's good then you will need to test the wiring in the steering column to the hazard switch.

What connection points/terminals should be checked in the steering column female connector ? Which terminals should be hot: 1.with ignition off and 2. with ignition on?

PS I can detect flasher relay clicking when depressing hazard on and off.
