2002 Ford Taurus heater not blowing hot air

To whom it may concern:

My heater will only blow cold air.

I have done the following and still no hot air

1) Taken loose both hoses from heater core and flushed heater core.

2) Replaced the thermostat

Do I replace the heater core?????
