2002 Ford Taurus Head Gasket Leak

There is a head gasket leak on the back head, on the side where all the pulleys are (passenger side).
1.) Is this a common problem for the 2002 Ford Taurus?
2.) Do I need to pull or rotate the engine to change the head gasket?
3.) What are the torque specs on the bolts?
4.) Any special notable tricks or advice for this job or can I just dive in?

It isn't a common problem. Once you remove the intake and everything out of the way, you can get to the head bolts. I looked up the torque specs and it says 37 ft lbs which sounds really low to me. Please confirm that with a repair manual. Here is the torque sequence:
