i just had my heads done due to a faulty water pump. my heater still doesnt work and after driving for about 15 mins, when i turn off the car, steam emerges from the water container. ive flushed the system out about 4 times. my question is, what may be causing my heater to not work, and what could be causing the water to overflow and steam out?

I replaced the thermostat before i cracked one of the heads. after the heads were done i drill two holes in it as to burp it, the temperature that the thermostat opened up from was too high... nd i just replaced the gasket around the thermostat. i drove for about thirty or fourty miles yesterday without using the a.c or heater and the car didnt over heat or spit out water..
