Brakes problem
2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My steering wheel shakes really bad when the brakes are being applied when I'm only on the highway. My husband changed the rotors and brake pads and it is still doing it. Its going into the shop, but was wondering if you could give us any idea what we could be up against. THANKS

he did font and back brakes?

were the rotors and drums replaced along wiht the pads and shoes?

the rear brakes may have to be set in. drive backwards and apply brakes several times. working up speed each time. then go forward and slowly work up speed. then backwards stopping fast. they go away now?

also if lug nuts are not properly torqued they can warp a drum or rotor.
