Noises problem
2001 Ford Taurus Automatic 146553 miles
Hi, i recently got this car as a ''hand me down '' form my mother from my sister and my sister was the first owner . The car is pretty old and i just took it to a AutoZone and got the system checked for a code i got the code P0174 which the mechanic told me it was a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor ( because the check engine light was or has always been on even when my mom had it) and i recently had a tune up done to replace the spark plugs , spark plug wires, oil change, air filter changed. And the told me that it could be the spark plugs , but i told them thats not the case because i just got a tune up, and the car likes to 'sputter' alot when i am idol or when its started up? could the 'faulty Mass Air Flow sensor' be causing this? it also sputters when going up hill. I know it has alot of miles on it sense its almost a nine year old car.
