I have a 2001 Ford Taurus. I had the head gaskets changed, the radiator, the thermostat 3x's and the hearter coil. The over heating problem that was the issue is corrected. Now the problem is when I turn on the heater a get a burning wire type smell. When I would turn the engine off you could see the smoke as if fluid was leaking on the exhaust manifold. Now in addition to the above issue, the fanbelt is squeaking as if fluid is getting on the belt. I took the car back to the shop and he looked for a leak but didnt find one. He tighten up all of the components on the car but the problem is still there. I have noticed that my power steering fluid is low and I have been replacing it every week. Oil, antifreeze are all perfect. Any suggestions or fixes?
