2001 Ford Taurus bearing noise

2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a bearing noise in one of the items along the serpentine belt. It came on during a 8 hour driving trip, with the AC running most of the time. The car still idles fine, has power and runs the same. I haven't fully checked to see if AC still working same. It is hard to tell where the noise is exactlly coming from. It seems like it is the power steering pump or AC clutch pulley. Would there be particular signs for either one of these? Would either one of these make a loud bearing noise?

Remove the serpentine belt, then spin the pulleys, idler, A/C, tensioner, and alternator, power steering wont spin..and I doubt it's that one anyway... how many miles are on this car?

approx 120,000 miles. The car runs great...has great compression..climbs grades with a full load in cargo space...this is a wagon. So...if it is the AC clutch pulley, are there bearings in it that would make a loud noise, and will it turn? What do you suspect is the culprit?

Can be any of them, but the compressor is a descent model, so my feeling is the tensioner and or idler, but the compressor has a bearing pressed into the back of the pulley. If that's the problem, get a used compressor at the junkyard that has a free spinning non binding pulley, and swap just the pulleys, this can be done without loosing the A/C charge.
