2001 Ford Taurus Front Wheel Drive Automatic 87,000 miles
My 2001 Taurus runs great and A/C is very cold. Now that it is spring I am beginning to use the A/C. The engine sometimes will stall when in gear but stopped at a red light. Only stalls when at idle and in gear. It does not seem like idle is increasing when a/c cycles and comes on and off. No other problems...just occassional stalling...I was told it might be tps sensor but that does not sound right to me. Also, there is an a/c cycle swith but I doubt that is the problem since it blows very cold. Help !
