2000 Ford Taurus shaking tire on passinger side

when on fwy the front tire on passinger side is shaking and steering wheel too. we just put a new axle on it. and the brakes are new. what could be the problem.

Hello,

It could be the wheel bearing or the tire tread has seperated.

Jack up the vehicle and try moving the tire if it moves a lot then most likely its the wheel bearing.

If tire moves very little then spin tire or run hand around tread you would feel a bump in tread if it has seperated.
