Suspension problem
2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Automatic 133000 miles

I recently replaced my rear strut assembly because my rear end was making a loud noise when I hit potholes. After changing the assembly the problem persists. PLEASE HELP!!!

Were the strut plates in good condition? Also, were all bushings in good condition?

I found that my car has three bushings: front, rear and sway bar bracket bushing. Should I consider changing all three?

I would try spraying one at a time down with something like WD40 to see if the noise stops. That way you don't have to spend as much.
