I have a 2000 ford Taurus flex fuel and I have changed the idler pulley and the power steering pump I am trying not to have to change any more parts before I get to the right one it has a squeal that sounds like it is coming from the top when in park you can barely hear it but when you are driving it likes to scream a little louder the performance of the car has not been affected yet but it is starting to get on my nerves? it does not sound like the alt. but I was told it could be the water pump or the harmonic balancer any advise or have you seen this problem before ?
