Just had flat on our 99 Ford Taurus, passenger side. had it put on a lift and they noticed a broken strut spring on the drivers side. They replaced the passenger side tire and recommended we get two new struts for both front tires and a new drivers side tire to match the new one on passenger side. I priced two struts at local Autozone, Gaberiel Ultra for $92.00 for both. I am hopefully getting a friend of a friend(work at home mechanic) to replace. Is 92.00 a reasonable price? How safe is it to drive on? We live paycheck to paycheck and with Christams around the corner, we were wondering if could be put off for a while, until after holidays? I will only be driving the vehicle to work and back about 20 miles both ways if possible?...Thanks Shawn

If the price included the strut and spring all in one unit
I would say its fair price
and make it an easier job to do at home ‘
good luck
