Noises problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 180k miles

i've replaced my wife's belt, tensioner pulley and water pump. It still squeeks loudly, while accelerating. when breaking or idling it's quiet. please help

You need to locate the source of the squeal. If the belt is new, then it must be within one of the pulleys that the belt drives. First make sure that ALL pulleys are aligned with one another. If you have even one pulley off by one rib (of the belt), you will have the squeal. Then, remove the serpentine belt. One by one, one at a time, spin each pulley separately. Try to listen to any of them making a noise. If I am to guess, I would say the idler pulley. You have a tensioner and an idler pulleys.
