Heater problem
1999 Ford Taurus Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hello there i have a 1999 tauris se with 170,000km my air and my heater dosent work the fan blows good i changed the tempeture and controll switch in the dash and did nothing do you know what else could be the problem

can you elaborate



if you have no heat check heater core isolate and flush and also check blend door actuator

the hoses are hot and the autuater does not work fuses and relays are all good.air conditioner also does not work either. where is this auctuater

make sure you check heater hoses by the firewall as most have a bypass hose about a foot above the heater core where hot coolant bypass the heater core leading to a false reading

when checking the heater hoses try to reach all the way down and by the firewall and out the heater core


blend door actuator is in the HVAC box
remove radio and should be able to

hi there i opened the actuater and checked theres no power going to the motor it checkes out and works traced wire back to blower and no power there. went to the main fuse box under the hood and found no power at the AC DIODE have any ideas where to check next
