Just rebuilt 3.0 OHV with remanufactured short block and new heads. During primed oil pump, usual startup, engine not turning over real easily....tight. Never did fire up, smelled gasoline. Checked oil and slightly foamy, drained oil pan and came out straight antifreeze then chocolate oil.

Suggestions. We now have it back out of the car.

check your head gaskets and intake manifold gasket if you have a wet type intake manifold.

Have taken back out of car. Head gaskets look fine. But, there seemed to be an overabundant amount of antifreeze in number six piston. Was suggested that it could possibly be from the intake gasket possibly slipping out of position. Suggestions for keeping it is place was to lightly adhear to head with adhesive to prevent slippage when replacing intake manifold.

You have any other thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

yes you should try the intake gasket first since you say the head gaskets are just fine, make sure your heads are not warped also.
