1998 Ford Taurus Turn Signal

The turn signal on my Taurus wagon works intermittently. I have replaced the fuse twice but the signal still works only part of the time. Any suggestions?

check the Electronic Flasher.....Under left side of dash.

I removed the ignition lock and both steering column covers. Then I removed dust from the multi function switch area and sprayed it with brake cleaning fluid. My turn signal now works perfectly.
