i crossed my battery wires.replaced battery,alternator and relays,car ran for a few days and died.when i jump it off it will run as long as i keep the battery cables to both vehichles,but dies when i disconnect cables from my car

Chances are you burned a fuseable link between the alternator and the battery. Check that first. Also, if you charge your battery and put it in the car, will it run for a while?
