1998 Ford Taurus Air Blend Door seems to cycle open and shu

1998 Taurus with 98 K miles has a problem I think with blend door (under dash) openning and shutting constantly every 3 seconds. Of course this does not occur when to A/C Heater Selection Switch is in OFF position. When this first started it only occured for the first few minute the car was on and then the door seems to stay in one place. Now it seems to never stop cycling.

What would be the major culprit for this cycling of the blend door?

It was the Blend Door Actuator that was stripped out and casuing the issue. 49.00 at parts store and about 1 hour to replace.
